These terms govern your use of SNAG (“we”, “us”), a job-tracking and maintenance-scheduling tool for trade and facilities businesses, available at snagapp.com.au and as an iOS and Android app. By creating a business account or using SNAG, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use SNAG.
SNAG has three kinds of users: admins, who sign up with an email and password and manage a business account; field techs, who a business’s admin adds and who sign in with a short PIN to work their job list; and operators/clients, who submit job requests via a PIN the admin shares. An admin is responsible for everyone they add to their business account, and for what those people do with the access given to them.
You must provide accurate information when signing up, and keep your login credentials (and any PINs you set for staff) secure. You’re responsible for all activity that happens under your business account, including actions taken by field techs and operators you’ve added. Tell us immediately at admin@snagapp.com.au if you suspect unauthorised access.
You agree not to:
You (and your business) retain ownership of the data you put into SNAG — job details, staff names, photos, materials logs, and anything else your team enters. We don’t claim ownership of it. By using SNAG, you grant us a licence to host, store, process, and display that data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle it, who we share it with, and how to get it deleted.
You’re responsible for the accuracy of the data your team enters, and for having the right to store any photos or information you upload (for example, get consent before photographing anyone identifiable on a job site, where that’s required).
SNAG’s software, design, branding, and content — everything except the data you put into it — belongs to us. These terms don’t transfer any ownership of that to you. You get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use SNAG for your own business’s operations, for as long as your account is active and you comply with these terms. Nothing here permits you to copy, modify, or create derivative works of SNAG itself.
SNAG is currently free to use. If we introduce paid plans in future, we’ll give existing account admins reasonable notice before any charge applies to their account, and continued use after that notice period constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
We aim to keep SNAG available and reliable, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted access — maintenance, third-party outages (see our Privacy Policy for who we rely on), or things outside our control can cause downtime. We recommend not relying on SNAG as the sole record of safety-critical information without an appropriate backup process for your business.
You can stop using SNAG and request deletion of your account at any time — see Delete your account. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, misuses the service, or poses a security risk to other businesses on SNAG, with notice where practical.
SNAG is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind beyond those that can’t be excluded by law (including, in Australia, the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law). To the maximum extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of SNAG, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or guarantee that the law doesn’t allow us to exclude.
If we make material changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, notify account admins by email.
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
